Grace Influential Positive Impact Award

Grace Influential is a global initiative led by the Princess Grace Foundation which celebrates and upholds the charitable legacy of Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco. The Foundation is recognized for its prestigious awards program celebrating excellence and positive change. The purpose of the Grace Influential Positive Impact Award is to recognize each Formula 1® team’s commitment and contribution to positive impact, on society and/or to the environment and help them to amplify these efforts widely.

Learning Ecosystem: Scuderia AlphaTauri

Back in 2015, we had increasing difficulty in finding personnel who met our criteria, so we started a program that would allow us to identify these talents and provide them in a very competitive time frame with the skills and knowledge that would enable them to perform at the levels that we expected. It became immediately clear that the type of training put in place, with the intervention of specialized technicians as teachers and the expertly structured methodology of "Learning by doing" was the key not only to shaping personnel with the skills we needed but also to providing talented young people with the expertise to have preferential access in the employment market (SDG 8). For this reason, we involved the local institutions and other big industries in the territory of Faenza to create a structured educational network that would create immense value for the community, making top-level training accessible and completely free to people who would not have had access to it otherwise and therefore increasing the employability of young students after high school and university (SDGs 4, 5). Those who participated in the educational programs that are part of our Ecosystem achieved an astonishing 98% employment rate.
