The Foundation is recognized for its prestigious awards program celebrating excellence and positive change. The purpose of the Grace Influential Positive Impact Award is to recognize each Formula 1® team’s commitment and contribution to positive impact, on society and/or to the environment and help them to amplify these efforts widely.

In June 2022, Haas proudly announced a charity partnership with Starlight Children’s Foundation in the US, providing support and respite to seriously ill children and their families in hospital. Starlight was formed with a mission to deliver happiness to seriously ill children, working with over 800 children’s hospitals. Since its inception, they’ve positively impacted 21 million children and continue to work tirelessly to bring joy and comfort to those receiving treatment. Since the launch of our partnership, we’ve brought drivers Kevin Magnussen, Pietro Fittipaldi and Mick Schumacher as well as TP Guenther Steiner to visit patients and their families and help with gift drops. We invite families who are allowed to leave hospital temporarily for an unforgettable experience which involves meeting the team, the car and the wider paddock. The latest expansion of our partnership includes the donation of $35,000 (via the Gene Haas Foundation) for the creation of 1,000 bespoke designed hospital gowns. We understand putting on a hospital gown can be very traumatizing but making them ‘look’ less daunting can help with the acclimatization. To bring this meaningful partnership to life throughout the year, we’re asking departments to support with online Q&A sessions and talks with children.
